Sherwood Allen “Woody” Gray, 77 a loving and devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017.
Sherwood was born March 6, 1939 in Glover, Vermont to Roland and Virginia Thompson Gray. They both preceded him in death along with two brothers, Stanley and Sherman Gray.
He proudly served in the Army National Guard, the US Air Force and was a machinist for over 45 years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; children, Tammy (David) Jernigan, Scott Gray, Leigh Ward, Weldon Ward and Shannon (Robert) Mayon; sister, Shirley (Jim) Lyles; brother Stewart (Dianna) Gray; ten grandchildren, and four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
