James Leroy Grammer, 76, passed away, Monday, February 1, 2021 at home. He was born November 3, 1944 in Pleasanton to Dexter Tipps Grammer, Jr. and Josephine Akers Grammer Coble. They both preceded him in death along with his step father, Kenneth Coble, and step brothers, Keith and Kenneth “Butch” Coble. James enjoyed watching movies, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Clint Eastwood along with hunting deer. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Margaret Geyer Grammer; daughters, Sheila Cohen and husband, Andrew and Tracy Brannan; brother, Milton Grammer; step sister, Rose Ellen Webster; half brothers, Lawrence and Ray Coble; grandchildren, Jake Mauldin and wife, Jamie, Mindy Mauldin and companion, Warren Potts and Raelyn and Desirae Brannan; and great grandchildren, Greyson Walker and Ziva Mauldin.
