Debra Gillespie

Debra Kay Landen Gillespie, 59, of Alvord, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at home surrounded by her children.
A memorial will be at 11 a.m, Saturday, November 16, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Alvord, with pastor Bill Cleveland officiating.
She was born December 14, 1959 in Elizabeth, Louisiana to Dennis and Faye Landen. Debra was a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was a stay at home mother for 21 years while raising 6 children and most recently after the passing of her husband, worked at Dollar General in Alvord.
Debra was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dale Gillespie, father, Dennis Landen, and brother; Dennis Landen, Jr.
She leaves behind her loving family to cherish her memory, sons, Michael Gillespie of Witchita Falls, Rodney Gillespie and fiancé, Courtney Bryant of Rhome and Junior Gillespie of Fort Worth; daughters, Kimberly Snow and husband, Bryan of Mountain Home, AR, Heather Phillips and husband, Evan of Ponder, Jessica Cummings and husband, Josh of Decatur; mother, Faye Landen of Pitkin, LA.; brothers, Charles Landen of Decatur, and Charlie Landen and wife, Wendy of Pitkin, LA, sisters, Vickie Landen of Pitkin, LA. and Brenda Gillespie and husband, Edward of Alvord; 13 grandchildren and extended family and a host of friends.
