Gerald Keith Hensley, born on June 12, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, departed this world on February 15, 2026, in Weatherford, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife, Joy Hensley; parents James Hensley and Ruby Mae (Clay) Hensley.
A proud graduate of Springtown High School, Class of 1977, Gerald dedicated many years to the field of sheet metal fabrication. His craftsmanship was not only a source of pride for him but also a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment to quality. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Gerald was a man defined by his deep faith and unwavering spirit. His kindness and love towards others were evident in everything he did, often extending beyond what was expected as he generously cared for those around him.
Gerald's most profound treasure was the love he shared with his wife, Joy. Their bond was one of true devotion; he loved her with all of his heart, cherishing every moment they spent together.
He leaves behind a family that adored him deeply. His sister, Nancy Guthrie, and her husband, Ryan, along with his brother, Roger D. Hensley, hold onto each cherished memory of him. Gerald was also an uncle to his nephews, Jared Kenith Hensley and Cody Michael Hensley, who were illuminated by his warm presence. Additionally, he is survived by his sister-in-law, Kristina Marx, and her husband, Jason, who appreciated his loving nature and generous spirit.
