Linda Gant

Linda Jean (Vaughn) Gant, 78, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 9, 2022 at home. She was born September 23, 1944 in Indiana to Edward Vaughn and Lois (Vaughn) Hicks Morgee and raised by Lois and Charles Hicks. She was married to the love of her life, Bruce Alan Gant for 53 years and they lived in Evansville, Indiana with their 3 children before moving to Texas.

Linda was a member of Aurora Baptist Church where she had countless friends who loved her. She also had friends from all over who loved her dearly because she loved them well.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce, her parents and her brother, Ron Hicks.

Linda is survived by her three children and their spouses; Melissa (Gant) & Michael Jones, Chuck & Carrie Gant, and Jordan & April Gant. Linda is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses; Shelby (Jones) & Nathan Williams, Alix (Jones) & Jordan Nierman, Chase & Megan Gant, Collin Gant and Chisam Gant. She also has two great grandsons. Linda will also be missed by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.She is also survived by her brother and his wife, Edward & Karen Vaughn and by her brother Brent Hicks.
She will be missed greatly by all who knew her and loved her.

Attire will be casual as this is a celebration of the life that she lived.

Her family is asking that in lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude Children's Hospital be made in her name.
