Ricky Finley

Ricky Wayne Finley, 66, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, surrounded by love.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Hiley Laverne Teakell and Rubin Lee Finley, as well as his beloved brothers, Tommy Finley and James Finley. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Stormy Finley; his loving sisters, Nina Weston and Betty Whitis; and his loyal dog, Tuff. Ricky also leaves behind a large extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends who will forever remember his kind heart and infectious laugh.

Born on May 18, 1958, Ricky lived a life full of adventure and authenticity. He was a true cowboy at heart, embracing the outdoors, especially hunting and life’s simple joys. Known for his open-hearted nature, Ricky never met a stranger and had a unique gift for making everyone around him feel welcome. His love for his daughter was immeasurable, and he made sure the world knew it.

Ricky’s vibrant spirit, love of laughter, and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of calling him family or friend.
