Lawrence Evans

Lawrence Earl "Corky" Evans, 85, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at home in Springtown. Corky was born July 31, 2015 in Fort Worth to Lee and Beth Mehaffey Evans. They both preceded him in death along with his two sons, Larry and Guy Evans. Corky retired from the Katy Railroad after 34 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed playing dominoes, motorcycles and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association and Cycle Club of Fort Worth. Survivors: His devoted wife of 47 years, Rita King Evans; children Lawrie Hoffman and husband, Mark and Jackie Beckwith and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Jessica, Terri Ann, Brandi, David, Kristen and Michael; great grandchildren, Christopher, Sara Rene and Zayin Carly all of whom will miss him dearly.
