David Ervin

David Ray Ervin, 53, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 after a long battle with cancer. David was born June 5, 1962 in Wichita Falls to Eugene Valton Ervin & Sarah Julynn Ervin. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherry Brewer. David was an outstanding husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and friend. He was also a dedicated employee to Azle Oaks Apartments for 37 years. He mentored the next generation of family with his special skills and trades but most of all by being an example of what a beautiful soul should be. He will be greatly missed. Absent from us but present with the Father working side by side with Jesus preparing for his family and friends to come home one day and be reunited. This is not good bye just see you again one day. He leaves behind wife of 20 years, Stefanie Smith Ervin; son, Brian Ervin and wife Courtney of Arlington; son, David Ervin of Fort Worth; son, Jonathan Ervin of Azle; step sons Monty and Cotie Jenkins of Azle; sister, Deborah Horn and husband Jessie; brother, Eugene "Buddy" Ervin and brother Eddie Gannon; and multiple other family and friends.
