Eric Michael Brady, born on April 17, 1983, in Fullerton, California, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Wise County. Eric was a dedicated and easy-going individual who made a lasting impact on everyone around him through his kindness and generosity. He was not just a friend; he was a best friend to many.
Eric devoted ten years of his career to the Peterbuilt plant, where he was well-respected for his work ethic and camaraderie with his colleagues. His passion for life extended beyond his professional endeavors; he was an avid fan of gaming and drag racing, activities that brought him joy and allowed him to connect with others who shared similar interests.
An alumnus of Chico High School, Eric culminated his academic journey with pride before moving to Wise County at the age of 12. He nurtured close relationships with his family, who remember him fondly for his giving nature and easygoing disposition.
Eric is survived by his beloved son, Ronyn Brady; his mother, Jennifer Ford, and her husband Steven; his father, Phillip Brady; his grandmother, Velma Ford; and his siblings, including sisters Heather Lee, Rachael Brady, Felecia Brady, Heather Hislop and her husband Eric; and brother, Casey Ford. He also leaves behind cherished uncles, Dean Lee and his wife Diana, and Sean Ford and his wife Trina; aunts Susan Pixler and her husband Kevin, Shelly Lee and fiancé, Jonnie McGuire, and Paula Gillis and her husband Eddie; as well as his great-uncle Jimmy Ford. Additionally, Eric is remembered by his Peterbuilt family, numerous cousins, nieces, Nephews and extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bobby Lee and Duane Brady, and his grandmother, Kathryn Nelson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bridgeport Country Club, located at 250 FM 2123, Bridgeport, Texas, 76426. This gathering will honor the memory of a remarkable individual who touched many lives, ensuring his spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him. Eric's legacy of kindness and friendship will undoubtedly live on through his family and friends, who will forever cherish their time with him. All flowers should be delivered to Bridgeport Country Club.
