**In Loving Memory of Eloise (Herman) Patrick**
Eloise (Herman) Patrick, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on January 27, 1942, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, she was the cherished daughter of Toni Herman.
Eloise embarked on a fulfilling journey as a nurse after graduating from high school and attending college to achieve her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse. Her passion for caring for others guided her through a remarkable career spanning over 50 years, where she displayed unwavering dedication in her role as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Mesquite Hospital. Her keen interest in writing procedural manuals was an extension of her commitment to excellence in nursing.
On December 20, 1972, Eloise found her soulmate in Norman Patrick, and they shared a love that blossomed for more than 53 beautiful years. Together, they created a life filled with warmth, adventure, and joy.
Later in her career, Eloise embraced new challenges by working as a "Land Man," where she utilized her skills to secure leases for several oil companies. Her adventurous spirit was evident in all her pursuits.
Eloise was a woman of many passions. She loved spending time fishing, gardening, cooking delicious meals, and indulging in bird watching. She treasured playing bridge and embraced the opportunity to travel the world and scrap booking with her best friend of over 60 years Eva Childers. yet her most treasured moments were those spent with her family and the joy of summertime at the ranch with her grandchildren.
Eloise is survived by her loving husband, Norman Patrick; sons, Jeff Patrick and wife, Patricia, and Steve Patrick; and her adored grandchildren, Casey Woolery and husband, Chans, Bobby and Teri; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Robby and Stella . She was preceded in death by her parents, but the legacy of her compassionate spirit and vibrant personality will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
