Gary Elliott

Gary Paul Elliott, 70, passed away, Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in Decatur. A celebration of his life will be held at a later day, by the family. He was born August 26, 1952 in Amarillo to Charles and Helen (Amick) Elliott. His mother preceded him in death. He grew up in Amarillo and worked for Rock Island, BNSF and Amtrack as a Locomotive Engineer. He retired after 30 plus years of dedicated service. Gary enjoyed family time and watching old westerns. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rhonda (Garrison) Elliott; daughters, April Bullard and husband, John and Kecia Jacobs and husband, Michael; father, Charles Elliott; sisters, Sandi Violet and husband, Gary and Dana Lento and husband, Dave; grandchildren, Kaytlin, Paytin, Kamron, Destini, Garyn and Carsyn; great granddaughter, Laykin.
