Elliott Sherwood Duggins

E.S. “Sherwood” Duggins, 93, passed away Sunday, October 26, in Denton, Texas. He was born September 30, 1932, in Grayson County, Kentucky, to James and Eunice Duggins. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis, of 67 years, and their son, Dale. Sherwood was a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He was known as a hard worker with a generous heart. He was employed in many ways, including donut shop owner, a bulldozer operator, an electrical contractor, and a builder. He is survived by sons Davis (wife Kathryn), Stephen (wife Kathryn), and Wesley (wife Stephanie); by daughter Gail Wyatt (husband David); by grandchildren Sarah, Katie, Reagan, Colson, Maura, Philip, Joel, Luke, Isaac, Seth, Emily, Daniel, Alexandra, and Jonathan; and by eighteen great-grandchildren.
