Carolyn Edwards

Carolyn Jane (Gilstrap) Edwards, 57, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Friday, December 29, 2023 in Decatur. She was born August 30, 1966 in Denton, Texas. She grew up in Lewisville and later moved to Bowie where she graduated. She worked in the healthcare industry. Carolyn loved to crochet and travel. But, most of all she loved to attend family functions. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Betty and Tim Woods; father, Mickey Gilstrap; children, Angela Morgan, Chastity Edwards and Krystal Edwards. sisters, Vickie Au and husband, Aaron and Deborah Jesperson and husband, Bill; brother, Steven Gilstrap; step-sister, Tracey Woods; step-brothers, Britt, Bob and Jett Woods; nieces and nephews, Justin (Caroline), Kyle (Kaulonie), Katherine, Jameson, Eli, Alaster and several other nieces and nephews, and extended family.
