Alexandra Dupuis

Alexandra “Sasha” Jeanne DuPuis, 82, passed away, Monday, August 23, 2021 in Decatur from complications of Parkinson’s. A celebration of her life will be held September 25, 2021. Please contact the family for more information. She was born June 5, 1939 in Towner, North Dakota to Alex Romeo and Mary Jean (Burns) DuPuis. They both preceded her in death along with her son, Kirk Hamm, brother, Bob DuPuis and sister, Janet Homec. Sasha worked as an art teacher for the Department of Defense. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and taking care of her animals. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Jeanne; sister, Railly McDaniel; granddaughter, Amber Jeanne; great grandson, Matthew Perez and niece, Daniel DuPuis; great nephew, Herbert Alexander Deaver and longtime friend, Donna Griffith
