GRANDVIEW -- James Edward "Jimmy" Dunn, 78, a devoted husband, father, brother and papa, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, August 27, 2016. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jimmy's name to the Community Hospice of Texas at Huguley, 301 Medpark Circle, Burleson, 76028 or the Fort Worth Alzheimer's Association 2630 West Fwy #100, Fort Worth, 76102. He was born March 10, 1938, in Grand Prairie to W.D. "Dub," Sr. and Mildred Hazel Jones Dunn; they both preceded him in death. Jimmy worked with his father in the upholstery business and was an independant truck driver for 45 years; he was never involved in a accident. He served in the U.S. Navy, enjoyed his ranch, farming and most of all his family. Survivors: His devoted wife of 47 years, Darlene; son, Vernon Lee "Boo" Dunn and wife, Stephanie; brothers, W.D. "Dub" Dunn Jr. and wife, Doris and Bobby Dunn and wife, Kim; grandchildren, Josh D. Dunn and Jaci R. Dunn; step-grandchildren, Lacy and Brayden Bruton; extended family; and many friends.
