Patsy Draper

Patsy Jean Draper, 83, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away, Thursday, April 21, 2022, at home, in Boyd. She was born September 9, 1938 in Fort Worth to Charlie and Bernice (Nunley) Rhoads. Patsy was a 60 year member of Springtown Church of Christ. She was a devoted Mother and the rock of the family all of her life. She was always cooking and cleaning and on occasion screaming at the cows to get out of her yard. We will cherish her memory the rest of our lives and remember fondly all the nutty things she would do. Patsy is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ewel (Buddy) H. Draper; daughter, Debra Way; son, Michael Draper; grandson, Joshua Draper;  great grandsons, Rieker Draper and Killian “Diddle” Draper; sisters, Verlin Hunt and Carol White; brother, Eddie Rhoads; and numerous nieces and nephews.
