Ewell Draper

Ewell Hester “Buddy” Draper, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his home in Boyd. He was born June 5, 1936 in Boswell County Oklahoma to Calvin Hester Draper and Emma Lee (Shelton) Draper. Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers and 3 sisters and his wife Patsy Jean. Buddy and Patsy were married September 2, 1955. He served in the Army and worked at General dynamics for 40 years. Buddy and Patsy moved to Boyd in 1965 and raised their two children, Debra and Michael. He is survived by his children, Debra Ann Way and Michael Ewel Draper, numerous nieces and nephews; grandson, Joshua Draper and great-grandchildren, Rieker and Diddle.
