Dorothy Mae (Hardcastle) Dowler, 88, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, June 28, 2022 in Millsap. She was born in Siloam Springs, Oklahoma to Eldee and Ruth (Wood) Hardcastle on September 25, 1933 who preceeded her in death. Dorothy held masters degrees in art, music and drama. In her early adult life she was a professional musician , contributing to may albums for Sun Records, toured with the Ray Conniff Singers, and was a frequent performer on the Lawrence Welk Show. Dorothy played piano in many churches. In later years Dorothy was a school teacher in both elementary and high school. She was a loving mother, sister, and grandmother. Dorothy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Greg Dowler; daughters, Jill and her husband Fred Griffin, Starla and her husband Gary Kachelmeyer, Linda and her husband David Smith, Leslie and her husband Richard Ring; sister Monita Remmich; cousin, Gayle Godfrey; grandchildren, Kaeden, Justin, Brandon, Hilary, Allison along with numerous great grand children, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
