Charlotte Doughty

Charlotte Ann Pugh Doughty, 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, June 18, 2020 in Azle. She was born December 11, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio to Charles M. and Estelle (Daily) Pugh. They both were there to welcome her home along with the father of her children, Floyd M. Bennett, sisters, Mary Hart and Dorothy Ruckle and her granddaughter, Brittany N. Bennett. Charlotte grew up in Columbus. Later in life, she lived in Pampa and was a very active member of the Pampa Baptist Church. In 2000 she and Howard moved to Springtown were they became members of New Hope Baptist Church where she acted as secretary and treasurer along with being involved in senior groups. Left to cherish fond memories are her husband, Howard Doughty; children, Bonnie (Clarence) Liff, Chuck Bennett, John Bennett, Wanda (Bob) Ross, Tony (Teresa) Bennett, Melvin Bennett and Doris (Blain) Eubank; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great grandchildren, all of whom will miss her dearly.
