Doris Fay (Rhine) Crawford went to meet her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at her home in Denton. She was born May 21, 1942, to Ed Rhine and Freda Faye (Summers) Rhine in Cash, Arkansas. Doris is preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Wayne Crawford; sisters, Licille Millsap and Dorothy Guthrie; brothers, Bobby, Junior, Harmon, John, and Jackey.
As a young girl at the age of fourteen, Doris gave her heart to Jesus Christ. She never wavered
in her commitment to the Lord or her confidence in His promises. Doris lived a simple life.
She never desired the things of this world because her eyes were solely fixed on heaven.
Doris lived a long life and made countless memories with her family. She dearly loved
them, and she prayed daily for their souls. Doris wanted them to personally accept Jesus,
so that He could change their lives as He had changed her life.
The closer she got to the end of her days, the more she craved the Word of God. Doris spent
her final days reading and preparing Bibles specifically notated for her children, and
grandchildren. This was the legacy she desperately desired to impart to her family.
God's Word BREATHED LIFE into Doris until her final task was completed.
Doris is survived by her husband, Floyd Crawford; sons, Bobby and his wife Tina, Scott and his wife Jamie, and Ronnie; daughter, Sharon Brown and her husband Jack; brother Rick Rhine; sisters, Juanita Crawford, Mary Crawford, Linda Briggs, and Barbara House; grandsons, Kris Crawford, Bryan Crawford, Tanner Crawford, and Matthew Crawford; granddaughters, Kimberly Stephens, Jennifer Padilla, Ashley Ledford and Grace Dugan, and Fourteen Great-grandchildren
