Glenda Dian Dodson, age 57, died peacefully on May 24, 2016 at her home in Joshua, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Glenda was born October 20, 1958 in Ft. Worth to the late Glen Waylon Hill and Daisy Berlene Hill. Glenda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who worked tirelessly throughout her life, and refused to give in to the ups and downs of a challenging battle with cancer. She was a kind and spiritual person who drew strength knowing that she was never alone, no matter how difficult this life was at times. Throughout her battle with cancer, her faith and determination gave her strength, and the love of her family supported her every step of the way. Glenda's gentle smile and thoughtful nature will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors: Husband, Ronnie Dodson; daughter, Joni Blair and her husband Hank; son, Jason Young; stepdaughter, Heather Dodson; brother, Shannon Hill and his wife Cindy; five grandchildren, Logan, Hannah, Dustin, Chase, and Jailyn; and numerous other relatives and friends.
