Jay Deskins

Jay Kenneth Deskins, 74, passed away, Friday, April 22, 2022 at home surrounded by those that love him. A celebration of his life will be held, Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 3-6 p.m. at his sons residence. Please contact the family for more information. He was born January 7, 1948 in Greenville to Rufus and Beulah (Follis) Deskins. They both preceded him in death. Kenny owned and operated Deerskin Manufacturing since 1972. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed traveling and collecting guns. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Willene (Thompson) Deskins; son, Jay K. Deskins and wife, Dawn; daughter, Jennifer Villasana; brother, Andy Deskins and wife, Robin; grandchildren, Larry, Stormie, Cameron and wife, Kayleigh, Jacob and wife, Dallas, Chance and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Tristen, Bailey, Kynlee, Ellie and Ryder. All of whom will miss him dearly.
