David Dwayne Reese

David Dwayne Reese, 66, passed away, Thursday, May 21, 2026, in Fort Worth. Born on March 8, 1960, in Richmond, Virginia, he was the son of Jackie Dwayne and Catherine Raye (Caudle) Reese, both of whom preceded him in death.

David spent his early years in Richmond, Virginia, and Carlsbad, New Mexico. An avid sports enthusiast from a young age, he enjoyed playing basketball and football, but his true passion was baseball. Under the guidance of his father, who coached him in Little League, David excelled as a pitcher through junior high school.

A devoted husband, David lovingly cared for his wife, Stephene, for many years. He cherished time spent outdoors, enjoying activities such as camping, fishing, riding motorcycles, and fast cars. Game days were especially lively at home, with David supporting the Dallas Cowboys, while Stephene cheered for the Steelers.

David is survived by his beloved wife, Stephene; children Cassandra Duncan and her husband, Tyson, Kalli Reese, Ashley Perez, and Sarah Reese; stepchildren Zachery, Chris, and Keri; sisters Terry Post and her husband Clayton, Bonnie Tompson and her fiancé Billy, Janine Potter and her husband, Richard, and Kimberly Heminger and her husband, Jason; along with 21 grandchildren, all of whom will deeply miss his presence.

His family and friends will remember David for his dedication, passion, and the joy he brought to their lives.
