Carol Darter

Carol Ann (Farris) Darter, 65, passed away, Sunday, March 17, 2024 in Decatur. She was born, April 5, 1958 in Fort Worth to Billy Howard and Lola (Ashcraft) Farris. Carol was preceded in death by her father. She was raised in the Springtown, Wise County area and graduated from Springtown High School in 1976. That same year she married her husband of forty-eight years, Charles Steven Darter. Together they raised two children. Carol enjoyed shopping for shoes and clothing. She liked race cars as well. Carol is survived by her husband, Charles Steven Darter; daughter, Amanda Weaver and husband Aaron; son, Wesley Darter and wife Kanzi; mother, Lola Farris; brothers, Don Farris, Joe Farris and wife Kristen and Howard Farris and wife Beth; half sister, Becky Hanson spouse is John; grandchildren, Ashton Muennink and husband Quinton; great-grandchild, Sutton. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
