Anna Lou Darter, 90, a loving mother, sister and grandmother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, November 24, 2021 in Springtown. She was born May 29, 1931 in Smithfield to William and Iva (Gerth) Kirk. They both were there to welcome her home. Along with husband of 62 years, CW Darter; daughter, Freida Kmiec; siblings, Marie Davis, Juanice Apple, Elmer Kirk, Billy Kirk, Franklin Kirk and Royce Kirk; daughter in law, Vickie (Lockhart) Darter. Anna loved to sing and play the guitar and piano. She was a sunday school teacher, church secretary and loved to cook. You never went hungry around her house, even if you weren’t hungry, you ate. Anna was a member of the Knob Hill Tabernacle. Left to cherish fond memories are her children, Steve Darter and wife, Carol, Kenneth Darter and Elizabeth Ford and husband, Rodney; sisters, Wanda Jennings, Zanna Hensarling and husband, Jerry and Jeannette Jennings and husband, Dan; grandchildren, Amanda (Aaron), Wesley, Roby, Dustin, Kristen (Ryan), Shawna (Cory), Sara and Kelli; great grandchildren, Ashton (Caleb), Kinsleigh, Brinleigh, McKenna, Leila, Coraline, Keller, Wyatt, Logan, Xander and Knox; great great grandchild, Sutton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew and extended family and many friends.
