With heavy hearts, we announce that Danny Paul Russell met his Lord and Savior,  Friday, July 31, 2026, at home in Boyd. He was born February 17, 1951 in Trenton, Tennessee to James Alfred and Louise Qualls. They both preceded him in death along with his beloved wife, Laura Russell and siblings, James, Glenda, Donald, Larry and Wilma Kay. Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in knowing they are reunited once again.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren, brother and many extended family members and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support they have received during this difficult time. While Danny's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, they take comfort in their faith and the promise of eternal life.

Matthew 25:23 (KJV): His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."

Danny's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
