Daniel Clint Hardin Lingle, 52, passed away unexpectedly, leaving a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. He was born and raised in Poolville, Texas, and graduated from Poolville ISD. Anyone who knew him knew he carried the best spirit in the world—always happy, always cracking a joke, and always finding a way to bring a smile to someone’s face.
Clint was a proud Grandpa, and his grandkids were the absolute light of his life. Kolynn, Remington, Willow, Ruger, Skyler, Matthew, and Cameron meant everything to him. He was the kind of grandfather who showed up, who loved big, and who made every moment with them memorable.
He is survived by his daughters who loved him dearly: Kalynn Hardin, Ashley Holloman and husband Larry, and Stevee Eason. Clint also leaves behind his sister, Susan Lingle, and his half-sister, Sabrina Judkins. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is welcomed into Heaven by his mother, Linda Sullivan, and his brothers Monroe Lingle and Jason Lingle, who he loved and missed deeply.
Clint lived life the way he wanted—simple, joyful, and full of laughter. He loved a good western on TV, sitting around the river lot, making an inappropriate joke at just the right time, and being surrounded by family. He was the kind of man you couldn’t help but love, and the kind of spirit we will never forget.
As we say goodbye, let us remember the good times, the jokes, the stories, and the love we all had for him. Clint lived life with a light heart and a big smile, and that’s how we’ll hold him in our hearts forever.
