Dana Jo Stokes

Dana Jo Stokes, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 14, 2025, in Bridgeport, Texas. She was born on July 12, 1959, in Clovis, New Mexico, and was known for her intelligence, loving nature, and fun spirit.

Throughout her career, Dana dedicated many years to the field of medical IT, where her expertise and commitment made a lasting impact. Those who worked alongside her admired her sharp mind and her unwavering dedication to her profession.

Dana found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for stories and cherished the moments spent with her family. Her laughter was infectious, and her warmth created a safe haven for all who knew her.

On October 15, 1983, Dana married her beloved husband, Larry Stokes. Together, they created a beautiful life filled with love, partnership, and shared dreams. They raised a family that brought them immense pride and joy. Dana is survived by her adoring husband Larry; her children, Misty Kriegshauser and her husband Chad, Robert M. Stokes, and Rayan Stokes and his wife Kim; and her treasured grandchildren, Ethan, Rylan, Connor, Keith, and Dexter. Each of them held a special place in her heart, and she found great joy in witnessing their growth and accomplishments.

Dana's legacy endures in the love she fostered within her family and the lives she touched throughout her journey. She is remembered fondly by those who had the privilege to know her and will be deeply missed.

She now joins her parents, James and Bettye Jo (Hall) Glidewell, and her brother, Derek Glidewell, in eternal rest. She leaves behind a legacy of love, intelligence, and fun that will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
