Cynthia Ann (Allday) Ellis, aged 68, peacefully departed this life on May 11, 2025, embraced in the comforting arms of Jesus at her home in Paradise Texas. Born on August 11, 1956, in Dallas, she was the cherished daughter of Frank C. Allday and Margaret Ann (Click) Allday. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother, Frank Douglas Allday.


Cynthia grew up in Dallas, proudly graduating from Bryan Adams High School in 1974. Her thirst for knowledge led her to the University of Texas Health Science, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology. On September 14, 1979, she married the love of her life, Ronald Ellis, and together they created a warm and loving family through the adoption of their two children Joseph and Christina


Throughout her life, Cynthia faced numerous health challenges with unwavering strength and a radiant spirit. Her positive attitude shone brightly, allowing her to live a full and vibrant life. A devoted Christian from a young age, she accepted Christ during a Billy Graham crusade. She served in children's ministry and was a cherished member of Home Group Fellowship at Trinity Bible Church. For the past eight years, Cynthia was a valued member of Decatur Bible Church.


Known for her sweet and warm personality, Cynthia had a profound love for people and dedicated herself to spreading the gospel wherever she could. She found joy in various activities, particularly training Border Collies alongside her husband, as well as traveling and exploring new places. Above all, Cynthia cherished her role as a wife and mother, delighting in moments spent with her family.


Cynthia is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Ronald Ellis; her beloved children, Joseph Ellis and Christina Ellis; her cherished grandson, Micah Ellis; her brother-in-law, Dennis Ellis and his wife Bobbie; her sister-in-law, Patti Munson and her husband Randy; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and kindness.
