Oscar "Monty" Crill

Oscar “Monty” Montgomery Crill, 57, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, January 3, 2022, in Azle. He was born April 26, 1964 in Clarinda, Iowa. His father, Owen “Mick” Maxwell Crill preceded him in death, along with his father-in-law, Bruce E. Kirk. Monty worked as a supervisor with SYB Construction and was a dedicated employee for 35 years. He enjoyed working with his hands. Whether it was working on the ranch baling hay, grilling or cooking, he loved to be around his family. He met Cynthia Kirk, the love of his life, and they were married six months later on December 17, 1988. You didn't see one without the other in the 33 years they were together. Monty was tender hearted, had a love for animals and a love to teach his grandchildren about life. He will be missed. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Cynthia Crill; mother, Barbara Crill; daughters, Kathryn (Christopher) Pyles, Crystal (Jerald) Isaacs, Kelli (Michael) Williams and Kristin (David) Carden; sister, Shelly (Jeff) Godino; mother-in-law, Neoma Kirk; aunt and uncle, Roxanne and Terry Moore; grandchildren, Maggie, Maddie, Layne, Landon, Levi, Kate, Colton, Jake and Haley; nephew, Frank Godino; best friend, Matthew “Bummer” Dueling; extended family and many friends.
