Tammie Lee (Shrum) Cowden, aged 63, of Weatherford, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was born on December 9, 1961 in her hometown of Weatherford, Texas, to Father, Tommie Arthur Shrum and Mother, Norma Shrum; both preceding her in death. Also preceding her in death, her husband of 38 years, Ernest Weldon Cowden.
Tammie was a proud Christian woman and a devoted follower of Christ. Oftentimes she could be found studying her Bible, following it closely and cultivating her life accordingly, guiding those that she loved. Tammie had a servants heart, as she didn’t know a stranger. She was a kind, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a devoted friend. Her memory is one that will be cherished, fondly, by her family and friends. Tammie’s presence will forever reside within the hearts of her loved ones, leaving them with a smile whether they are opening their Bible or see a pretty rock. She was loved by so many and loved so many in return; she will be dearly missed.
Surviving Tammie include her son’s Earl Morgan Jr. and wife, Rebecca; Nickie Morgan and wife, Melonee; daughter Latosha Miller and husband, Erik; sister, Tina Hall; granddaughter’s Felicity Morgan and husband, Brayden; Shianne Morgan and husband, Tyler; Addyson Miller and Kyley Morgan; grandson’s Grayson Miller, Tristin Morgan, Peyton DeBusk, and Kaydin Morgan; great-granddaughter’s Briar Morgan and Maevis Jett, and great-grandson Kylo Jett
