Steven Lynn Collins, born to Albert and Doris Collins on August 31, 1949, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Steven had been a long time resident with history and friends of both Waurika and Sulphur, OK.
Steven was preceded in death by both his parents, Albert and Doris Collins, brothers, Wilburn and Roger Dale "Red" Collins, and sisters, Lorine Harkey and Mattie Kennedy. He is survived by his children, Lisa and Bobby Dyer of Waurika and Jason Collins of Wilson, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren, Sassy, Tim, Elijah and Violet Davis, Samuel Fields and Rheanna Fields all of Sulphur, Alyssa Fields on OKC and Kyliee Fields of Waurika, and siblings, Peggy Waters of Bebbe, AR, Ginger and Ray Wilburn on Leoma, TN, David and Anna Collins, Connie and Jim Baker all of Ryan, Elzane and Richard Mackey of Newalla, OK, Ann and Bill Brooking of Cache, OK, Nina Fowler of Corsicana, TX and Wanda Lyle of Melbane, NC.
A memorial service will be held for Steven by his family on Saturday, November 23 at First Christian Church, 502 N Elm St., Waurika, OK at 1 pm. All friends and family are encouraged to attend, enjoy fellowship, a Thanksgiving feast and a celebration of Steven's life!
