Brenda Cobb

Brenda Lynn (Kilpatrick) Cobb departed to be with her Lord and Savior on March 13, 2024. Brenda was born November 26, 1950 to Billy Kilpatrick and Patricia (Wilcox) Kilpatrick in Arlington, TX. She attended Arlington High School graduating in 1968. She married the love of her life, James Wayne Cobb, on March 16, 1973. Brenda worked at FM State Bank in Burleson. The couple lived in Rendon until 2014 when they moved to retire in Bowie, TX. Brenda loved animals! She and James had many beloved pets throughout the years and were members of the Texas Pride Riding Club. They rode in many rodeo grand entries, competitions, and trail rides. They especially enjoyed riding through the LBJ Grasslands outside of Decatur, TX with friends. Brenda loved to travel with her girlfriends: Judy, Ann and Deborah. Their favorite destination was Las Vegas to watch horse competitions, gamble and people watch. Brenda is survived by husband, James; nieces Kelly Smith of Lubbock, TX and Shelly (Smith) Aljoe of Ardmore, OK; and great-niece, Jordan Aljoe of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Patricia Kilpatrick; daughter, Shannon Lee Cobb; brothers, Dewey McClain Kilpatrick and Dale Allen Kilpatrick; paternal grandparents Dewey and Thelma Kilpatrick; maternal grandmother, Rena Ruth Twomey and sister-in-law Donna Cobb Smith.
