Claude William Clanton, 48, a loving and devoted husband, father and friend to many, passed away, September 11, 2021 in Fort Worth. He was a groundhog baby, born February 2, 1973 in Fort Worth to Claude and Flora (Hart) Clanton. They both were there to welcome him home along with his brother, Billy Clanton and half-sister, Sarah Powers. Claude grew up in River Oaks and graduated from Castleberry High School. He was a computer programmer and was always there to help anyone that was needing help with their computers and anything electronic. Claude was active in the Boy Scouts as a child and as an adult with his son, Aaron. He also worked as a dispatcher for the River Oaks and White Settlement Police Departments. Claude is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Regina (Ellis) Clanton; daughter, Ashley Nichols and husband, Christopher; son, Aaron Clanton; daughter, Brooklynn Clanton; mother-in-law, Stella Ellis; sister-in-laws, Carrie Ellis and Angie Heath and husband, Bobby; extended family and many friends who will miss his crazy antics.
