Cheryl G. (Pullins) Niemeyer 82, passed away, Friday, June 19, 2026 in Bowie. At her request there will be no formal services scheduled and will be laid to rest with her parents in Indiana at a later date. Cheryl was born September 18, 1943 in Rensselaer, Indiana to Glenn and Helen (Kerns) Pullins. The both preceded her in death along with her brother, Ronald G. Pullins. She was raised with her siblings by her grandfather, Albert Kerns and her mother, Helen. She attended elementary, junior and senior high school in Rensselaer and graduated May, 1961. Attended International Business College in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. She started as a secretary in 1962 and reached personnel and office management positions the last fifteen years before her retirement in 2003 after 40 years in various executive office employment. Early retirement allocated more time for her hobbies - gardening, home decorating design and being an available Grandma to Emma.
Cheryl's greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dwaine A. Niemeyer; loving mother to son, Jamison E. Badders, and second mother to daughter-in-law, Joann Badders; daughter, Bridget K. (Badders) Forteson and son-in-law, Juan; sister to Katherine L. “Kay”(Pullins) Schultz; and grandma/Nana to Emma L. Forte; stepmother to Mari (Niemeyer) Mills, Duanallen Niemeyer and Catherine Niemeyer and step-grandmother to Wesley and Leo Mills, and Oran and Roen Niemeyer, as well as being an Aunt/Great Aunt to several nieces and nephews. She loved all her family with heart and soul.
