Maria Chavez

Maria Ignacia Chavez, 72, of Fort Worth, passed away, Friday, October 30, 2020 at home, surrounded by those that love her. Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 4611 Blackstone Dr. Fort Worth, 76114. She was born, October 20, 1948 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Antonio A. Chavez and Ninfa Jojola Chavez. They both were there to welcome her home along with many friends and relatives. She loved with all her heart and may her soul rest in peace for eternity in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Maria is survived by her son, Roger Chavez and wife, Lisa; daughter, Cristina Ahuyon and husband, Mike; 8 grandchildren, Roger Anthony Chavez, Melissa Rose Nicole Stone and husband, Robert, Christopher Ryan Chavez and wife, Samara Bailey, Maria “Lupita” Guadalupe Avalos, Luis Antonio Avalos, Julyssa Brianna Rodriguez, Miguel Angel Ahuyon; 5 great grandchildren, Lacey Ann Rose Starr, Mandy Lynn Stone, Robert Christopher Stone, Jr., and Alice June Bailey.
