Charles Alec Roberts

Charles Alec Roberts, 91, passed away, Friday, January 16, 2026 in Fort Worth. He was born August 17, 1934 in Oklahoma to Mina Lou (McClarty) and Francis Alexander Roberts. They both preceded him in death along with his loving wife of 62 years Jannett Inez Roberts in 2015 and daughter-in-law, Christine Roberts.

Charles grew up in southeast Oklahoma and graduated from Kingston High School. It was there that he met the love of his life, Jannett. They were blessed with two sons. In 1956 the family moved to the Midland/Odessa area where he worked for Gulf Oil. He retired after 28 years of service. After retirement Charles and Jannett moved to the Weatherford area in the 80’s and he worked for Goodwill Industries and was self employed until his final retirement in 1990. In his spare time, Charles could be found hunting, fishing and playing poker.

He is survived by his children, Glen Roberts and Joel Roberts and wife, Chrissy; grandchildren, Charles, Amy, Dusti, Andy and Cally; great-Grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren, Cheyenne, Hailey, Charlie, Michael, Zachery, Logan, Andrea, Noah, Kaleb, Avery, Bentley, Alec, Austin and Aiden.
