Charles Glen Roberts, 72, beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026, in Azle. Born on December 9, 1953, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Charles A. Roberts and Jannett Inez (Buchanan) Roberts, Charles was a man of many passions and a heart full of love.
Preceded in death by his cherished wife, Christine Roberts, and his devoted parents, Charles leaves behind a legacy that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. A natural salesman, he dedicated his life to a career in sales, ultimately finding success in communications. His zest for life was palpable, whether he was immersed in an intense game of poker, strategizing his fantasy football lineup, or cheering for the Dallas Cowboys. Yet, nothing brought him more joy than the special Thursdays he spent with his grandchildren, moments that were truly the highlights of his life.
Charles is survived by his loving children, Charles K. Roberts and Amy Shields; his adoring grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Logan, Andrew, Noah, Taylor, Lauren, Cheyenne, Hailey, and Charlie; and his delightful great-grandchildren, Tammy, Riggin, Jordi, Hartlen, Keira, James, Lucas, Alec, Harlem, and Yami. He is also remembered by his brother, Joel Roberts, and sister-in-law Chrissy, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whose lives he touched.
As we gather to celebrate the remarkable life of Charles Glen Roberts, let us cherish the laughter, love, and unforgettable memories he shared with us. May his spirit continue to inspire us, and may we find comfort in knowing that he is forever remembered with love.
