Charles Patric Estill, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and a cherished member of the Fort Worth community, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2026, in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. Born on September 21, 1943, Charles’s life was one of dedication, warmth, and an unwavering spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Charles was a proud graduate of North Side High School in Fort Worth and went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Education from Rice University. His love for learning and teaching became a defining aspect of his life. As a devoted teacher and coach for Birdville High School and the Fort Worth Independent School District, he inspired countless young minds, fostering a passion for growth, teamwork, and perseverance. After his time in education, Charles brought his leadership skills to the role of construction supervisor, where he guided projects with the same care and precision that defined his character until his well-earned retirement.

He was a man who never met a stranger, his kindness and genuine interest in others creating a welcoming atmosphere wherever he went. Charles was a loving husband to Brenda Estill, their partnership a testament to steadfast devotion and shared joy. Together, they created a family rooted in love and laughter.

Charles’s heart was fullest in the company of his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Jenifer Fobbs, Eric Estill, and his wife Pam, as well as his grandchildren Brendan Estill and his wife Brittnee, Grant Estill and his wife Fiance, Taylor, and Hunter Estill with his wife Peyton. His great-grandchildren, Remi, Kinzley, Haylynn, and Cylan, brought immense happiness to his later years, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

His interests reflected a life lived with enthusiasm—hunting and fishing connected him to the great outdoors and the quiet solace of nature. He delighted in building projects and spent countless hours remodeling his home, pouring love and skill into every corner.

Though Charles is deeply mourned, the legacy left by his parents, Hugh Estill and Nelly Mae (Castleberry) Estill, and his siblings Bud, Leta Mae, Lenard, and Jackue  who have preceded him in passing, lives on through his enduring family and the many lives he influenced.

Charles Patric Estill’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, commitment, and an unshakable sense of community. He leaves behind a world made better by his presence and a family that holds his memory close in their hearts forever. In his passing, Fort Worth has lost a remarkable man, but his spirit will continue to inspire all who knew him.
