Joe Marion Calvert, Sr., 85, passed away, Sunday, December 4, 2016. Joe was born, October 5, 1931 in Winnsboro to Wille C. and Myrtice Asbill Calvert. They both preceded him in death along with a son David, grandson, R.J., brothers Tommy and Bob and sister, Elsie. Survivors: His devoted wife of 22 years, Evelyn Challis Calvert; sons, Joe Jr., Michael, Derrick, Rex, Michael, Scott, Billy Joe, Clint and Christopher; daughters, Terrie, Francis, Geneva, April and Susan; 27 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.
