Mary Burkett

Mary Francis Burkett, 91, born December 20, 1931, in Decatur, Texas, to Henry Clay Perkins and Frances Victoria (Cagle) Perkins, took Jesus' hand as He led her to her eternal home on July 11, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Mary lived a full and joyful life and loved wholeheartedly without conditions. Her humble, genuine heart and sense of humor were second to none. Mary will forever be dearly loved, missed, and always remembered by her family and friends. She was greeted in Heaven by the love of her life, Lowell, and was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, one granddaughter, and many other loved ones. Mary will live on in the hearts of her children, Ronald Wayne Burkett and wife Glenda, Linda Faye Balboa and husband Rick, James Richard Burkett (Ric), her brother James Perkins and wife Glenda, and her sister Carol Janette Potter and husband Pete. Grandchildren Karrie and husband Chris Preneta, Ronald Burkett Jr. and wife Holly, Amy and husband Shawn Sexton, and Jamie Burkett. Great grandchildren Blake, Madison, Lincoln, Lena, and Ella; nieces and nephews.
