Joseph Brittain

Joseph Benjamin Brittain, 81, a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather, passed away, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at home surrounded by those that love him. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. He was born June 11, 1939 in Weatherford to John Henderson and Annie Audette (Morgan) Brittain. They both preceded him in death along with his sons, Tony Brittain and Billy Wayne Brittain and daughter, Becky Beatty. Joseph was a truck driver for over 47 years and teamed with his wife for 15 years of that. He loved to fish, camp, old country music and was known to be a smooth dancer. Left to cherish fond memories are his devoted wife, Wanda (DeHart) Brittain; children, Kerry (Jeanne) Anderson, Ronnie Joe Brittain, Mildred Hendon, Bennie Anderson, Donna Brittain, Petey (Kennith) McCauley, Sherry Miles, Scherly (Chad) Vess and Robin (Jeremy) Alford; brother, John (Veronica) Brittain and Ruth Ann Carnes; numerous, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
