Bobby Lee Smith passed away on May 8, 2025. He was 92. Bobby was born on June 14, 1932 to Bill and Alma Smith in Fargo, Oklahoma. His parents and brother Billy have predeceased him. Bobby was a veteran of the Korean War. He married Naideen and lived in Amarillo, TX, where he worked as an appliance repairman for Sears for 37 years. They had two children, Bobby and Debra. Later he married Ann, and she had three sons, Van, Dan, and Tommy. After retiring they moved to Runaway Bay, TX. Working on projects in the garage was his hobby. He was a master craftsman. If you asked Ann where Bobby was, she would say “He’s out in the garage making clinkers and sawdust.” Bobby was a pitcher for his high school baseball team. He loved watching the Texas Rangers play baseball spending many hours watching them play, drinking beer, and eating lots of peanuts. He spent his final years in a nursing home in Bridgeport, TX, with Ann. Bobby is survived by his wife Ann, 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
