Billy Watkins, a dedicated computer specialist with a remarkable career spanning 30 years at Microsoft, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2025, in Paradise, Texas. Born on September 10, 1953, in Bridgeport, Texas, Billy's life was a testament to hard work and a passion for the outdoors.

Billy was known for his strong work ethic, always striving for excellence in everything he undertook. Beyond his professional commitments, he found joy in life's simple pleasures—working outside, fishing, playing pool, and throwing darts. Music was a constant companion in his life, with Pink Floyd often filling the air and providing the soundtrack to both his work and leisure.

A kind and giving man, Billy was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His generosity and warm spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Amanda Madera, and her husband, Tyler. Billy also cherished his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren, Xander Watkins and Dorian Madera. Additionally, he is remembered fondly by his sisters, Paula Burks and her husband Donald, and Tony, as well as by his brother, Rocky.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, his son Adam Watkins, and his stepmother Eva Berneice Watkins.
