William Bills Jr, “Bill” 78, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6. He was born February 20, 1945 to William Bills Sr. and Doris (Marlow) Bills. Bill was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 21 years, Wanda Bills. He was raised in Jacksonville Florida. Bill joined the Army in 1962 where he served during the Vietnam War. After his military service he was a commercial fisherman for many years. Later he settled in Texas where he worked for Joe Tucker Dry Wall and retired after 18 years of service. Bill enjoyed many hobbies and interests including hunting, fishing, golf, collecting golf balls and knives. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his partner of 18 years Barbara Stinnett; daughter, Billi Jo Ohme and her husband Kevin; stepson, James Stinnett and his wife Eva; grandchildren, Shalee, Julianna, Brennan, Kaden, Rylan, Shawn, and Kennedy; and great-grandson Braxton on the way. Bill, and his huge laugh will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
