Betty Jo Beck Wills, 84, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026.Betty Jo was born on October 21, 1941, in Tolar, Texas, to RV Beck and Brooksie Ida Irene Hendon Beck. She lived a life marked by dedication to The Lord, her family, and love for those around her. She graduated from Poly Technic High School’s class of 58’. Betty Jo worked as a dental assistant and alongside her father at RV Beck Construction, where she ran the business office with diligence, integrity, loyalty and pride.On July 18, 1958, she married her lifelong love, Bobby. Their marriage was a testament to commitment, to themselves and The Lord.Betty was saved Easter 1965 at Bethel Baptist Church in Arlington,TX where she was a member. She has been a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Worth for over 45 years. She started her singing ministry as a part of the Joy Sisters trio for a time. Then her brother in-law Calvin asked her to join the Singing Wills Family. After a year and a half with Calvin, she and her husband Bob along with their kids formed the Bob Wills Family Singers. Little did she know this journey would take her to 48 states including Alaska and Hawaii as well as Mexico, Canada and Europe. After nearly 20 years on the road she retired to take care of her mother, Irene. Though off the road, she was still a prayer warrior for her sons and their ministries. Her encouragement and continual prayers for her family will be sorely missed.She was preceded in death by her parents, RV and Irene Beck; and her brothers, Dalton, Jimmy, and Donald Ray.She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob Wills; her sons, Bobby Wills Jr. and wife Annette, Don Wills and wife Brenda, and Ron Wills and wife Deborah; her daughter, Angelique “Angel” Wills; 10 grandchildren and their spouses; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched.
