Kenneth Basham

Kenneth Dale Basham, 71 a loving father, brother and grandfather passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Decatur, Tx. A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date. He was born June 30, 1952 in Whitwell, Tennessee to William Robert and Margie Ruth (Long) Basham. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Joe and Darryl Basham. Kenny was a graduate of H. Grady Spruce High School in Dallas, Tx. he loved to hunt and fish. Ken was also a long time and original member of the Texas Baitcasters Club. He loved to spend time with his family in the Tennessee mountains where he was born. He is survived by his children: Traci Davis and husband Brady, Sharon Benham and husband Danny, Vincent Basham and wife Shannon and John Basham; step-daughter Sarah Benson and husband Cory. Brothers: Dennis Basham, Gary Basham and wife Stella, Harold Basham, Rodney Basham, Mike Basham, Ronald Basham and wife BJ, Brian Basham and wife Lindea. Kenny has nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
