Michael Barthel

SPRINGTOWN -- Michael William Barthel, 75, a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather went home to be with his Heavenly Father, Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at home. Michael was born, May 23, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Richard Charles and Juanita Piel Barthel. They both preceded him in death along with his son, Scott Barthel. He enjoyed riding his horse on trail rides and was retired from Crowley ISD where he was an HVAC Tech. Survivors: His devoted wife, Karen; children, Chris Kuhn and husband, Paul, Jennifer Dumser and husband, David, Jennifer Desmond and husband, Kevin and Keith Green and wife, Tencha; sister, Carol DeNease; grandchildren, Caitlin, Samuel, Ethan, Amelia, Ryan, Tara and Christopher.
