Barbara Sharon Baas, a wife, mother, and friend, was born on February 7, 1945, in Birmingham, Alabama. After dedicating 50 years to a successful career in industrial sales, Barbara became known not only for her remarkable work ethic but also for her warmth and caring that left a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Throughout her life, Barbara held a deep commitment to her faith as a dedicated member of Aurora Baptist Church for 24 years. Her active involvement in the Nursery and Vacation Bible School showcased her nurturing spirit and evident love for children. She thrived in environments where her kindness could shine, and her outspoken nature encouraged others to embrace their own voices.

Barbara's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She found joy in traveling, often seeking new experiences and adventures, and shared her love for gospel and country music, which brought warmth and comfort to her life. Her affectionate bond with her pets further highlighted her caring nature, providing companionship and joy.

She departed from this world on September 10, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness that will resonate through the hearts of many. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Baas, and her treasured sons, Norman Allen Stapp Jr. and Sean C. Baas. Though she is preceded in death by her parents, John Lambert and Marie Gillespie, the lessons she imparted and the memories she created will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched.
