Steven Bannister

Steven Ray Bannister, 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Thursday, November 19, 2020 in Decatur. He was born April 7, 1956 in Long Beach, California. His mother, Jerre Julian Bannister preceded him in death. Steven attended bible school and loved the Lord. He volunteered in Oklahoma as a fireman. Steven loved spending time with his grandchildren that meant the world to him and spent many hours enjoying his new farm. Left to cherish fond memories are his devoted wife of 34 years, Patricia (Fisher) Bannister; daughters, Diane Carpenter and husband, Steven and Jini Cothran; father, Donald Bannister; grandchildren, Kish, Caleb and Asher, all of whom will miss him dearly.
